Macon, GA — A “high-risk” raid carried out by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) alongside the FBI resulted in the seizure of more than $700,000 worth of illegal drugs, firearms, and vehicles on Key Court earlier this week. Authorities say the takedown marks one of the most substantial drug-related seizures in the county this year.
Investigators executed the search warrant on Wednesday at a residence in the 700 block of Key Court, where they say two individuals were operating a drug distribution hub stocked with narcotics and high-powered weapons.
What Deputies Found Inside the Home
According to BSO officials, the operation uncovered a large cache of drugs, cash, and firepower. Items seized include:
- 55 pounds of marijuana
- 4 pounds of cocaine
- 39 grams of crack cocaine
- 7 grams of ecstasy
- $5,630 in U.S. currency
- Glock 22 (.40 caliber) handgun
- Glock 32 (.357 caliber) handgun
- FN 510 (10mm) handgun
- Smith & Wesson M&P (.45 caliber) handgun
- Anderson Arms 300 Blackout assault rifle
- Several high-capacity magazines, including a 50-round drum
- 1980 Ford F-150
- 2024 Honda Accord
- 2022 Kia K5
The total estimated street value of the narcotics, weapons, and vehicles comes to approximately $712,630, according to investigators, as per the reports.
Sheriff: Seizure Prevented “Potentially Deadly Consequences”

Sheriff David Davis praised the operation’s outcome, emphasizing how significant the haul was in protecting the public from dangerous substances and weapons.
“This is a significant seizure of illegal drugs, particularly in the amounts of cocaine and ecstasy,” Sheriff Davis said. “This case also highlights the connection between the drug trade and high-powered weapons. Removing these drugs and potentially dangerous weapons from our streets has likely saved innocent lives.”
Authorities say the combination of narcotics and high-capacity firearms pointed to a “serious trafficking operation,” prompting a more robust tactical response.
Two Suspects Charged With Trafficking
Deputies arrested Jimme Lee Jones and Kinjarra Bonner at the residence. Both suspects are now facing an extensive list of felony charges, including:
- Trafficking marijuana
- Trafficking cocaine
- Trafficking crack cocaine
- Possession of Schedule I ecstasy with intent to distribute
- Five counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
Both Jones and Bonner are currently being held without bond at the Bibb County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office.
Community Impact and Ongoing Investigation
Authorities say investigations into the broader network tied to this residence are ongoing. Law enforcement believes additional individuals may be connected to the supply chain responsible for distributing narcotics across Macon and surrounding areas.
BSO officials emphasized that these operations remain a priority as the department continues to target drug trafficking groups equipped with high-power firearms and significant resources.
