‘LOUD’ – Music Photo Exhibition Opening, Hosted by Still River Editions, Oct. 14th

“LOUD” is a group exhibition of music photography by sixteen artists from Connecticut, one from New York, and one from Florida/NY. It takes place at the Gallery at Still River Editions from October 14 through December 22. There is a free, public opening reception on Saturday, October 14th, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m  featuring music by the Plainville-based group, The Sawtelles. The exhibition was curated by Lys Guillorn, who is Gallery Director of the Gallery at Still River Editions, and is also a musician.

Music photographers spend concerts poised behind their lenses, waiting to pounce on singular moments that will never be repeated. They capture the essence of the concert going experience, and the viewer’s mind supplies the music.

Regular gallery hours: 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday. Closed Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving.
