According to officials from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the call initially appeared to be a routine check on a suspicious presence on private property.

Woman Identified as Local Resident With Prior Drug Cases
During the interaction, the woman identified herself as 48-year-old Cindy Davido, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga. Deputies stated that as they continued their conversation with Davido, they discovered what appeared to be suspected methamphetamine in her possession.
Authorities further learned that Davido had previous convictions related to methamphetamine possession, which immediately elevated concern and shifted the nature of the call. What began as a trespassing report quickly turned into a narcotics investigation.
Deputies say that Davido did not appear to have permission to be on the property, though the primary focus of the case ultimately became the suspected drug possession and her documented history of similar offenses, as per KTLA.
