Rizzuto’s Italian Restaurant & Bar is located at 6 Stony Hill Road, Bethel, Ct., 203.790.4444. It has VALENTINE’S WEEKEND SPECIALS Friday, Saturday & Sunday February 12-14. Rizzuto’s Wood-fired Pizza Kitchen and Bar in Bethel, CT is their founding location. Above: Winner, winner, Chicken dinner!! Chicken breastfeeding stuffed with artichoke hearts, Swiss chard, sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese, pan roasted, finished with a game glace and served with a honey gold potato smash and sautéed bok choy, I guarantee you it doesn’t get any better than this!

Singing the fabulous love songs of the 1930s and ’40s, Cool Struttin’ revives the glamour and wit of jazz’s Golden Age songwriters. Fronted by Bethel’s own sophisticated sweethearts, lead singer Pam Bujese and violinist Howard Bujese, joined by the talented Doron Ben-Ami (J&B Band) on guitar and the mighty Chris Bishop (Otis & the Hurricanes) on bass. Pam is known for her wry and witty song interpretations, and husband Howie adds vocal repartee on such songs as “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” with terrific vocal harmonies by all four.
Cool Struttin’ will have their brand-spanking new CD “A Little Bit About a Lot of Things” available for sale. It features classic songs by Duke Ellington, Peggy Lee, Errol Garner, Lerner & Lowe, and Frank Loesser.

Portofino Restaurant and Wine Bar is located at 213 Greenwood Ave., Bethel Ct., 203-797-8131. The restaurant is unfortunately still closed from water damage but will open soon after repairs (very soon, but not in time for Valentine’s Day). Click for dinner menu here and visit when they open again.
