Kona, Hawaii – A Kona couple faces serious drug-related charges following a large-scale narcotics investigation near a neighborhood school, authorities confirmed.
Arrest Following Narcotics Search
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, law enforcement conducted a search at a residence on Lapa Nui Street in Kona, resulting in the arrest of David Jossy, 37, and Amy Fattorosi, 36. According to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, both individuals are charged with multiple drug offenses, including promoting a dangerous drug and attempted distribution of cocaine.
During the search, VICE-West officers recovered more than 60 grams of cocaine and 458.6 grams of marijuana, highlighting the scale of the alleged operation.
Court Appearance and Charges
Jossy and Fattorosi made their initial court appearance in Kona District Court on Wednesday. Despite objections from prosecutors, the couple was granted supervised release and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on December 12, 2025.

The charges brought against the couple are class A felonies, which carry severe penalties including up to 20 years in prison, or 10 years probation with a possible two-year jail term.
