It’s a Block Party in Bethel … with Five Ribbon Cuttings! Sept. 15th
Be sure to attend these exciting events!
WHAT:
Join together for FIVE ribbon cuttings, celebrating the opening of shops in the downtown block, nearby the town’s historic Opera House, that was devastated by fire in 2017
WHO:
Bethel Chamber of Commerce, shopkeepers, townspeople and community leaders

THE RIBBON CUTTINGS:
11am
The Toy Room, 180 Greenwood Ave
Store specialties will be represented, with Luke’s Toy Factory and its eco-friendly 3D trucks on hand from 11am to 2pm, and Magnets:The Game, the marbles of the 21st century, at the shop from 12 noon to 2pm. You’ll also find crafts to do, give-a-ways, raffles and refreshments.

Byrd’s Books, 178 Greenwood Ave
Give-aways and sale specials will be featured all day, with an author talk at 2:00pm with Jessie Sheehan, author of The Vintage Baker. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
11:45am
Doherty Petri School of Dance, 170 Greenwood Ave
Opening their beautiful new studio, there will be dancers giving demonstrations, and the shop will be offering coupons for discounts.
12 noon
Patricia’s Presents, 164 Greenwood Ave
With her exciting new business, Patti will host a craft person who makes dog, cat, and horse silhouettes and stationary. There will also be refreshments.
12:30pm
DiLillo Real Estate, 162 Greenwood Ave
Meet and talk with the realtors while enjoying their new offices. Refreshments will be served.
NOTE ABOUT PARKING: There is municipal parking at the Bethel Public Library across the street and at the Old Station Station, now Broken Symmetry, 5 Depot Street. There are also several downtown lots within walking distance.
