Tornadoes Tear Through Harris County Neighborhoods
The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed that an EF1 tornado swept through the Riata Ranch area in Northwest Harris County, west of Highway 249, producing peak winds of 105 mph.
A more powerful EF2 tornado hit the Klein/Spring area along the Grand Parkway, with winds reaching 115 mph. Both tornadoes left miles of destruction in their wake, damaging homes, vehicles, and sparking fires from fallen power lines.
Despite the intensity of the storms, local officials report that no injuries were sustained, highlighting the effectiveness of early warnings and preparedness measures.
Wednesday Weather: Cooler Temperatures and Wind Gusts
Residents should expect a brief cool-down on Wednesday, with temperatures beginning to fall. Wind gusts could reach up to 20 mph, so light breezes may accompany outdoor cleanup or commuting, as per Click2Houston.

Thanksgiving looks to be a pleasant day for Houstonians. Early morning temperatures will be in the upper 40s, rising to highs in the 60s by the afternoon.
