Hollandia Nurseries and Yesteryear Farm Antiques held their 28th Annual Fall Festival on October 5th and 6th at their location at 103 Old Hawleyville Road, Bethel, CT with perfect sunny fall weather.
The well-attended event featured a large collection of antique tractors, engines, trucks, cars, and farm tools, hay rides, tractor-pulling contests, and food and fun for all ages.
The creative displays of gorgeous colorful mums and numerous pumpkins were a delight for the eye for young and old, dotted with antiques. Children sat at tables painting pumpkins and also had their faces painted too!
Dispersed throughout the nursery were live animals of all kinds including horses and steer. Wood carving of an owl was taking place in one of the tents and numerous antique cars were also on display.
The Stony Hill Fire Department was also there with their fire truck on display.
It seems as if everyone wanted to take a ride in the tractor-pulled hayride that was full to capacity on each trip around the nursery. The tractor-pulling contest had a significant audience cheering them on and was the highlight of the event.
