DeSoto Parish, LA – A high-speed chase originating in Natchitoches Parish led to a manhunt in DeSoto Parish, resulting in the detention of four individuals, authorities reported. The incident began on Thursday, November 16, around 3:13 p.m., when the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office (NPSO) and Robeline Police Department responded to a disturbance on La. Highway 485, near Mallard Hill.
Officers attempted to stop a blue Honda Accord, which refused to yield and fled, leading authorities on a chase through the Spanish Lake and Allen communities before entering I-49 northbound.
DeSoto Parish Response
The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office (DPSO) joined the pursuit once the suspect vehicle crossed into DeSoto Parish, focusing efforts in the areas of Highway 510, Asseff Road, and Fortson Road.
By approximately 6 p.m., deputies captured two additional individuals who had fled on foot from the stopped vehicle, bringing the total number of people detained to four, as per KSLA.

Sheriff Stuart Wright praised the rapid response and collaboration of multiple law enforcement agencies, including Sheriff Jason Richardson, Louisiana State Police, and Robeline Police, stating:

Chase and Suspect Details
The chase originated after a reported disturbance, and authorities believe the driver fled due to outstanding warrants in Natchitoches Parish. Two occupants remained in the vehicle when it came to a stop on Asseff Road, while two others fled on foot. At this time, law enforcement has not released a description of the individual still being sought.
Investigators are also interviewing a woman allegedly involved in the original disturbance that triggered the pursuit.
