Moss Point, Mississippi – A suspected gang member was arrested on multiple charges following a drug bust in Moss Point, Mississippi, authorities announced.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety confirmed that Linquin Frank Reid, 45, was taken into custody on Thursday after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a local residence.
Drugs and Firearms Seized
During the operation, agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics reportedly confiscated:
- 442 grams of cocaine
- 128 grams of fentanyl
- 261 counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl
- 39 grams of crack cocaine
- 52 grams of marijuana
- Three handguns
- An unspecified amount of cash
Charges Against Reid
Reid, who is allegedly a known Bloods gang member, faces multiple criminal charges including:
- Three counts of sale of a controlled substance
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Aggravated trafficking of cocaine
- Trafficking of fentanyl
- Possession of crack cocaine
- Possession of marijuana
“Operations like this one send a clear message: we will not tolerate those who profit from poisoning our communities with fentanyl and other dangerous drugs,” said Mississippi Department of Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell.
He added that the arrest was the result of collaboration between state, local, and federal law enforcement, emphasizing that sharing resources strengthens efforts to dismantle criminal organizations and keep deadly drugs off the streets.

As per the reports, the operation involved multiple agencies, including:
- FBI Safe Streets Task Force
- Pascagoula Police Department
- Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team (agents from state and local law enforcement, including Pascagoula, Lucedale, and Wiggins police departments, and the George County Sheriff’s Office)
Authorities say the collaborative effort was key to the successful bust and arrests.
