Galveston, TX – After a months-long investigation, Galveston police have arrested a man on charges related to illegal drug possession and firearm violations.
The investigation led officers to execute a search warrant at a residence located in the 1100 block of Avenue M. During the search, investigators uncovered quantities of Xanax and promethazine, along with three handguns.
Arrest of John Roberson
The suspect, identified as John Roberson, a 43-year-old Galveston resident, was arrested without incident. Roberson now faces multiple drug-related charges in connection with the illegal sale of prescription medication in the community. As per Click2Houston, his bond has been set at $350,000.
