BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. – Four men were arrested after a stolen car collided with two state police vehicles and sparked a high-speed chase from Bucks County to Philadelphia on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).
Stolen Vehicle Spotted
State police reported that troopers observed a stolen Honda CR-V from Upper Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County traveling on I-95 South in Bensalem Township, Bucks County just before 1 p.m..
Troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop near mile marker 26, but the driver refused to pull over, prompting a chase. During the pursuit, the stolen vehicle hit two state police cars, causing a minor injury to one trooper. None of the four suspects were hurt.
Dramatic End to the Chase
At around 1:30 p.m., the Honda was boxed in by state police near Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia, after driving the wrong way through a closed construction zone on I-95. The four men exited the vehicle, leaving it on the side of the highway, and fled into the wooded area along Frankford Creek.
Troopers deployed a K-9 Unit to track the suspects while others followed along nearby train tracks. Around 2 p.m., aerial footage from Chopper 3 showed at least five troopers sprinting across I-95, stopping traffic, and leaping barriers to reach the suspects in the woods.
Arrests and Charges
All four men were apprehended after an extensive search of the area. PSP confirmed that the suspects will face criminal charges related to the stolen vehicle, collisions, and fleeing police, as per CBS News.

The operation involved multiple law enforcement units, including the Philadelphia Police Department, the PSP Aviation Unit, and the K-9 Unit, all assisting in the pursuit and arrest.

The Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate the incident to determine any further involvement or additional charges against the suspects.
