Morgan County, AL – Four people were arrested on September 7 after authorities seized more than 24 pounds of methamphetamine during a drug operation at a hotel near Beltline Road and 6th Avenue, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Drug Bust Details
The operation targeted a multi-level drug trafficking group with connections to other states and Mexico. Agencies involved included the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit, North Alabama Drug Task Force, and Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force – Region F.
As per reports, the meth has an estimated street value of $1.1 million.
Arrested Suspects

Those arrested include:
- Victor Hernandez, 36, Austell, Georgia
- Miguel Aguirre, 28, Chicago, Illinois
- Nicanor Garcia Garcia, 53, Chicago, Illinois (also charged with resisting arrest)
- Priscila Karime Narzagaray, 37, Atlanta, Georgia
Three of the suspects are being held under Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers.
Law Enforcement Cooperation
Authorities thanked the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Huntsville Police Department for assisting in the investigation, which followed weeks of surveillance and intelligence-gathering into the group’s activities in North Alabama.
