Flood Advisory Alert Remains in Effect for Fairfield County Today Until 4:15 p.m.

Many Bethel residents received a Flash Flood warning on their phones today as constant heavy rain flooded some roads in our area.

Photo above shows a flooded Saxon Road off Reservoir Street in Bethel, CT.

At 216 PM EDT: Although the heavy rain has ended across the advisory area, roadway and small stream flooding will continue through the next few hours. Please continue to exercise caution.

Powerful Spring Storm Continues Moving East on Monday

Wintry precipitation and strong winds will continue to impact the Great Lakes and Northeast on Monday. Significant snow and freezing rain are expected in these areas. Heavy rain is also possible in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and southern New England on Monday, along with moderate coastal flooding. The storm will finally weaken late Monday.
