Install beautiful sculpture from established talented professional artists from various backgrounds, is how!  For Bethel residents who did not see it yesterday, they are waking up this morning to six new sculptures that were installed in Bethel town center, two located at the Bethel Public Library and four on the CJH Municipal green.

HOT TOPIC: First Six Bethel Arts Sculptures for Outdoor Art Exhibit Are Installed in Town Center

How do you transform a town in a few hours? Install beautiful sculpture from established talented professional artists from various backgrounds, is how!

For Bethel residents who did not see it yesterday, they are waking up this morning to six new sculptures that were installed in Bethel town center, two located at the Bethel Public Library and four on the CJH Municipal green.

Bethel Advocate was there yesterday as the sculptures were being installed, see photos below of some of the artists and their work, and the exhibit curator.

As we previously reported yesterday (CLICK HERE TO READ STORY), the artists that are participating in this exhibit are: Murray Bodin, Dave Boyajian, Steven Brooks, Barbara D’Alessandro, D. L. Gerlach, Jim Felice, John Ferguson, Richard Pitts, Matt Rink, Glenn Zweygardt.

Six of the ten artists installed their work yesterday and we were able to capture photos of some of the artists with their work (see below). We are still looking forward to the installations of Jim Felice, John Ferguson, D.L. Gerlach, and Matt Rink, which will happen shortly, approximately next week, to meet the official opening of the exhibit in May 2016.  The exhibit will run for one year.
