Graham, NC – A major multi-agency drug bust in Alamance County ended with the seizure of more than 11 pounds of cocaine and nearly $100,000 in cash, law enforcement officials confirmed. The operation resulted in the arrest of a local man and represents a significant effort to curb illegal drug distribution in the region.
Multi-Agency Investigation Leads to Bust
On Monday, the Guilford County Narcotics Task Force teamed up with the Alamance County Narcotics Enforcement Task Force to investigate suspected drug trafficking in Graham, North Carolina. The investigation focused on a residence on Leslee Drive, which authorities said was being used to store and distribute large quantities of cocaine.
During the coordinated operation, deputies executed a search warrant at the residence. Investigators discovered approximately 5,000 grams (just over 11 pounds) of cocaine, packaged and ready for distribution. In addition, authorities seized $99,995 in cash, believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.
Officials described the bust as a major disruption to drug trafficking networks operating across Alamance and neighboring counties.
Arrest and Charges
Miquel Angel Herrera-Camacho, 31, was taken into custody at the scene. He has been charged with felony cocaine trafficking and is currently being held at the Alamance County Detention Center under no bond.
Authorities noted that the arrest is part of a broader effort by local and regional task forces to target drug distribution networks that pose a risk to community safety. Additional charges or arrests may follow as the investigation continues.
