Evan Jamieson Wagman Passed Away, 2018 Honorary Survivor Chair of Relay For Life Greater Danbury

 

The 2018 Honorary Survivor Chair of Relay For Life Greater Danbury, Evan Jamieson Wagman, AKA “King Evan” passed away on February 24, 2018.  He was this year’s Honorary Survivor Chair of Relay For Life / Greater Danbury.

As the Honorary Survivor Chair he will be remembered in a special way at this year’s Relay For Life / Greater Danbury.

EVAN JAMIESON WAGMAN

Place of Death : Bethel, Connecticut

Evan Jamieson Wagman, loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend passed away Saturday, February 24th after a long and brave battle with leukemia.

Evan’s personality, sense of humor and sweetness made it impossible not to fall in love with him the moment you met him. Evan loved the Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams, music, scary movies, reading, and WWE Wrestling. His life’s motto was “Live your life to its full extent”. He influenced all who knew him and there are no words that can describe how much he will be missed.

Evan resided in Bethel, Connecticut and worked at WCSU Dining. He is the beloved son of Alan and Beth and the step-son of Dianne; he is the dear brother of Ben, Eliza, and step-brother to Paul. He will be forever missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Ave., Danbury, CT 06810 and to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10065.
