Danbury Police: Puppies Thought to Be Stolen from Puppy Kisses Pet Store Were Sold By Employees Under ‘False Pretenses’

On July 27, 2019, members of the Danbury Police Department responded to 128 Federal Rd., Puppy Kisses, for a larceny complaint several thousand dollars. Management reported that twenty to thirty puppies were missing from the business, which was presumed stolen. During the course of the initial investigation, it was determined that store employees sold the puppies under false pretenses for $100.00 each.

Anyone who purchased a puppy or other merchandise from Puppy Kisses on Saturday, 07/27/2019, is asked to contact Detective Collins at (203) 797-4667.

As this is an ongoing investigation information is limited at this time, but follow-up information will be provided as the case moves forward.
