Bethel Mail Service, located in Dolan Plaza at 211 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel, CT, will soon be offering a Park & Call/Text Package Drop Off! COMING IN JULY!

“Yesterday, I was walking in front of the store when a mother pulled into a parking space. She proceeded to take her baby and older child out of her car while holding a package with a label on it to be shipped. Of course I knew she was dropping off the package to us, so I asked her if I can take the package for her as she was trying to take her other child out of the car. I looked like any other person, so she obviously wondered who I was, and asked me if I worked at the shipping store. I apologized for being so quick as I told her I am the owner. She gladly and thankfully gave her package to me. I scanned it in ready for UPS to pick it up later that day.
“I looked outside and noticed that she put her kids back in the car to leave. I couldn’t help but think of all of the effort mothers have when they visit with their children to simply drop off their labeled package(s). So, the idea came to me – We will offer those customers the service of coming out to the car! What a great idea for parents who have no choice but to bring their children, and since it adds so much effort to just drop off a package, I want to make it as easy as possible for them.
“PACKAGE TOO BIG AND/OR HEAVY? No problem, leave it to us!
“In addition to assisting parents with children, we also want to help anyone coming to drop off a package that is quite heavy and/or large. We will bring our cart to you so we can bring in your package.
**STARTING JULY 1, LOOK FOR THE SIGN IN OUR WINDOW!**
“If you’re coming to us to simply drop off a labeled package, and your hands are full, you’ll be able to either call or text that you are parked outside, and we’ll come to you!
“Just look for the clearly noted sign in our front window directing you on how to get us to your car!
