Clovis, CA – Four men have been arrested in connection with a months-long narcotics investigation that uncovered illegal drug activity and illicit vape sales in both Clovis and Fresno, authorities announced this week.
Four Arrested After Search Warrants Executed
On Tuesday, the Clovis Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) served four search warrants resulting in the arrests of:
- Jeremiah Gonzalez, 25
- Jonathan Simmavong, 27
- Gursimran Mahal, 25
- Zackary Torres, 26
The investigation, which began with an anonymous tip through Valley Crime Stoppers, expanded based on evidence from social media and cell phone data.
Drugs, Firearm, and Vape Products Seized
During the search operations, investigators seized a variety of illegal substances and contraband:
- A loaded handgun
- Oxycontin, Xanax, and Adderall
- Psilocybin mushroom-infused candy bars
- Flavored nicotine vape products
- Electronics and cash
One suspect, Gonzalez, was also charged with violating probation, while Mahal was additionally charged for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
All four individuals were booked into Fresno County Jail on a list of narcotics-related offenses, including:
- Possession of controlled substances
- Intent to sell marijuana
- Possession of prescription sedatives and drug paraphernalia
Investigators also linked the suspects to a Clovis smoke shop, which led to the seizure of illegal flavored vape products as reported by KMPH.
