Chicago, IL — A 28-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly striking an 18-year-old woman with a car earlier this year in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood.
Incident Happened in April
According to FOX 32 Chicago, police say Ashley Hamilton allegedly participated in hitting the victim with a vehicle on April 26 in the 400 block of West 112th Street. The circumstances leading up to the incident have not been fully detailed by investigators.
Hamilton was taken into custody Monday in the 700 block of East 111th Street. She is now facing one felony count of attempted murder.
“Hamilton allegedly participated in striking the victim with a car,” Chicago police said in a statement.
