New York City, NY – A high-end heist in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx left authorities investigating after burglars made off with more than $550,000 in designer goods and cash, police said. The incident occurred late on November 25 when no one was home.

According to the NYPD, the suspects entered the building at Undercliff Avenue and West 175th Street through the front door around 9:30 p.m. before breaking into a luxury apartment.

Stolen Items Include Designer Shoes, Bags, Jewelry, and Cash

Police reported that the burglars ransacked the apartment, stealing:

  • $200,000 worth of Louis Vuitton shoes
  • $100,000 in Chanel bags
  • $150,000 in jewelry
  • $104,000 in cash

Authorities said it is unclear whether the suspects knew the apartment’s residents, but they fled the scene with their expensive haul.

Surveillance Footage Released

The NYPD released surveillance footage of both suspects over the weekend. As of Tuesday, neither had been apprehended.

One suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers, and carrying a camouflage backpack. The second suspect is a male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored vest, black jeans, and black sneakers.
