Breaking News: U.S. Capitol Complex on Lockdown, Shots Fired Near Visitor’s Center, One Officer Shot
One Capitol police officer shot, not seriously wounded. They do have the shooter in custody (reports CNBC). It seems to be focused on the U.S.Capitol Visitor’s Center. Heavy police presence. They locked down the White House as a precautionary measure. “Stay in Place” order was ordered. (reports Associated Press and Reuters).
