Snow and icy roads delay school opening for second time this month.

Message from Bethel School District:
The Bethel Public Schools are on a 2-hour Delay Schedule today, Thursday, December 11, 2014.
Bethel Public Schools delayed school opening times are as follows:
High School…..9:35
Middle School…..10:15
Johnson School…..10:15
Berry School….. 11:00
Rockwell School….. 11:00
No AM Circle of Friends.
Message from Office of Emergency Management:
Thursday Morning: Light snow is expected during the morning rush hour across most of the state with slick spots and a minor to locally moderate impact on travel.forecast to range from the upper 20’s in the NW Hills to the low 30’s in the Hartford area and mid 30’s in Southern and Eastern CT during the morning rush hour.
Rest of the Day on Thursday: The light snow is forecast to gradually taper off to flurries during the day with little or no additional accumulation.roads wet for the midday and afternoon commute.
The Department of Emergency Services and Management and Homeland Security will continue to monitor the latest forecasts and will send out another update at 1:00 PM.
