NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE:

ANOTHER NIGHT OF BELOW ZERO COLD INLAND AND BELOW ZERO WIND…

CHILLS THROUGHOUT TONIGHT…

As temperatures tonight fall back to below zero well inland and into the single digits most elsewhere, wind chills will remain at least a few degrees colder as brisk northwest winds take some time to diminish. Wind chills will be mostly 5 to 10 below zero, but may reach 15 below in a few inland spots, mainly in the higher elevations.

Temperatures and wind chills will both moderate by Tuesday afternoon as the core of the Arctic air mass bringing us this cold begins to slide east.

Make sure to bundle up and wear a hat and gloves if heading outdoors tonight into Tuesday morning.
