Bethel Public Library Presents Talk on World War I in Commemoration of 100th Anniversary of the War

Join us at the Bethel Public Library for World War I Revisited, a talk by Dr. Gerard Brooker, on Thursday September 3 at 7:00 pm.

Dr. Brooker, a popular local writer and globe-trekking humanitarian, will give background on the causes of the war, the battles that were fought, and the heroism of the soldiers. He also will share photos of his recent World War I tour.

A question and answer session will provide an opportunity to delve more deeply into the subject.

The talk is for adults and high school students.

Registration is required. Call the Library at 794-8756 ext. 4 or register online at www.bethellibrary.org

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library two weeks prior to the program to make arrangements.
