Fines Amnesty Ends September 7!
When we closed the library building in March 2020, we temporarily suspended fines in order to reduce the burden on our community during what turned out to be a very difficult year.
Since then, we have focused on returning to our services while keeping the safety of our community in mind.
This summer, we were finally able to open all the doors and welcome patrons inside without appointments to pick up requests, browse the collections, and attend events.
Beginning September 7, after Labor Day, we will no longer be quarantining materials as they return to the building, and we will begin charging fines for overdue materials again.
