Bethel Police Warn Residents About Thefts from Cars, and Stolen Cars

Recently Bethel Police have received multiple complaints regarding attempted and actual thefts from cars as well as two reports of stolen vehicles. In these cases, and often in these types of complaints, the targeted vehicles are believed to have been left unlocked and keys were sometimes also left in some vehicles.

The Bethel Police Department is actively investigating the complaints received but also asks that residents take care to lock their vehicles, keep valuables out of parked vehicles or at least out of plain sight, and refrain from leaving keys inside vehicles.
