Bethel Police arrest two men for multiple violations.

Bethel Police Arrest Two Men for Criminal Violation of Protective Order, Threatening and Harrassment

POLICE REPORTS:

Case 16-7272 which was closed with arrest on 10/14/16:

Arrested: Depallo, Anthony (DOB 6/14/88)

Charges: CGS 53a-223 Criminal Violation of Protective Order
CGS 53a-62 Threatening 2nd Degree
CGS 53a-183 Harrassment 2nd Degree

On October 13, 2016 at approximately 15:30 hours, Officer Schretzenmayer and I were provided with an arrest warrant for Anthony Depallo of 350 Canaan Rd, Stratford, CT.  The charges were for violation of CGS 53a-223 Criminal Violation of a Protective Order; CGS 53a-62 Threatening 2nd Degree; CGS 53a-183 Harassment 2nd Degree. Newtown Police Department advised Bethel Police they had Depallo in their custody on an active arrest warrant out of Bethel, CT. Officer Schretzenmayer and I went to Newtown Police and placed Depallo in custody. Depallo was transported to Bethel Police and was routinely processed to include fingerprints and a mug shot.

Depallo’s bond was set at $75,000 and is set to appear in court the following day, 10/14/16 at 09:30 hours in Danbury Superior Court.

Arrested: Cyrta, William

Charge: CGS 53a-62 Threatening in the Second Degree

On October 5, 2016 at 18:00 hours, Officer Zor and I went to Norwalk, CT to fulfill an arrest warrant for William Cyrta of 21 Bartlett Manor, Norwalk, CT. Officer Zor and I met with Norwalk Police, served the signed arrest warrant, and took Cyrta into custody at 18:55 hours. Cyrta was arrested for violating CGS 53a-62 Threatening in the Second Degree. Cyrta threatened to kill his brother-in-law, Peter Scott of 9 Plumtrees Rd, Bethel, CT on 10/4/16.

Cyrta was routinely processed to include booking, fingerprints, and a photograph.

Cyrta was arraigned the morning of 10/06/16 at Danbury Superior Court and was released on a promise to appear in court on October 27, 2016.
