Bethel Police Arrest Drivers During Distracted Driving Campaign, and DWI
Here are the latest arrests from the Bethel Police Distracted Driving Campaign, held yesterday, and also a DWI arrest.

Robert Vosbureh, male, age 57, white, of Surrey Drive in Brookfield, CT was arrested on 4-16-17 at 7:02p.m. on Shelter Rock Road and charged with 14-227a operating under the Influence 14-230(a) Flr drive rt and 14-215 Operating MV with a suspended license.
Police were called to the area of Plumtrees Road and Whittlesey Drive for a report of an erratic motor vehicle. Police located the vehicle as it made a left turn from Shelter Rock Road to stay on Shelter Rock Road. As the vehicle made the left, the vehicle traveled north in the southbound lane. Vehicle was stopped, and the operator was observed to have blood shot eyes, and slurred speech when he spoke. Operator, Vosburgh, was determined to be operating under the influence, and arrested. Vosburgh was processed and released on a $100 cash bond. Vosburgh is due in Danbury Superior Court on4l24ll7 at 9:30 a.m..

Najim Wisaa, male, age 23, white, of 45 Bridle Path Trail in Monroe, CT, was arrested on 4-20-17 at 9:45 a.m. on Wooster St. and charged with 14-215(a) Operating Under Suspension and 14-296aa(b) Operating a Motor Vehicle While Using a Cell Phone.
Wisaa was observed traveling on Wooster St. while looking at and manipulating a cell phone in his hand. Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, it was learned Wisaa’s license was suspended. Wisaa was issued a Summons for Operating Under Suspension and Using a Cell Phone while operating a motor vehicle, and he was released on a Written Promise to Appear.

Lisa Omarra, female, age 38, white, of 22 Fleetwood Ave., 1st Floor, Bethel, CT, was arrested on 4-20-17 at 1:15 p.m. on Greenwood Ave. and charged with 14-215(a) Op. Under Suspension, and 14-12(a)* Op. Unregistered Motor Vehicle.
Omarra was observed traveling on Greenwood Ave. while using a cell phone. Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, it was learned Omarra’s license was suspended and her vehicle was unregistered. Omarra was issued a Summons for the above listed charges and was released on a Written Promise to Appear.
