Bethel High School Students Will Participate in the CMEA Western Region Honors Ensembles and New England Music Festival Assoc. Choir and Band

The following outstanding BHS musicians will be participating in the Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA) Western Region Honors Ensembles on January 13th and 14th at Staples High School, 70 North Avenue, Westport, CT. Congratulations to these students!

Gia Antolini, BHS Junior – Orchestra

Anna Harovas, BHS Sophomore – Choir

Cameron Klinefelter, BHS Junior – Band

John Mattera, BHS Junior – Band

Jillian Paulin, BHS Sophomore – Orchestra

Rachel Salvador, BHS Senior – Choir

Congratulations to Amber Martin, Alyssa Schneider, Ruben Morais and Cameron Klinefelter who auditioned and were accepted into the New England Music Festival Association Choir and Band. They will be performing with these large, amazing ensembles in March. (Info. to come.)

The Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA) is the federated state organization for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) which represents the profession of music education in the United States. CMEA plays an important role through its encouragement and support of the highest musical standards in our school programs. The All-State and Regional Festivals, the Annual In-Service Conference, the CMEA NEWS magazine, advocacy efforts and grant programs for our members are some of the ways that the Connecticut Music Educators Association continues to fulfill its commitment of more than three quarters of a century to music education in our state.

3:30 p.m. Jazz and Chorus Concert

6:00 p.m. Band and Orchestra Concert

TICKETS:

Tickets for both concerts for the Western Region High School Music Festival will be on sale during the festival.  On Friday evening, Jan. 13th and Saturday morning, Jan. 14th, tickets will be $10 per person.  On Jan. 14th at 2:30 p.m. ticket prices will increase to $15 for adults and $10 for children under age 10.
