Bethel High School Student Uses BHS CPR Training to Help Save Her Grandmother Until Stony Hill FD Arrived

Message from Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company:

“On May 17th, Stony Hill EMS and Bethel Police Department were dispatched to a cardiac arrest here in Bethel. The patient was found by family members unresponsive and not breathing. Arlene’s 17 year old grand daughter, a Bethel High student, Kaitlyn quickly put her CPR training she obtained at BHS to use. Shortly after that, members arrived on scene and began additional life saving measures.

“We recently received word that Arlene made a full recovery with no deficits and is back home.
