The Bethel Community Hike at Franc Preserve will be on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM. The entrance is on the south side of Plumtrees Road, east of the intersection with Old Hawleyville Road.
Join the event for a Sunday afternoon hike, suitable for all ages. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Please note that motorized vehicles are not permitted on the property.
This property has an agricultural past with old pasture, fields, woods roads, as well as wetlands, watercourses and forest stands.
This hike is being hosted by the Bethel Land Trust and the Town of Bethel Parks and Recreation Department. It is one of a series of hikes being offered in conjunction with the 2019 Bethel Community Earth Day, which is co-sponsored by Bethel Parks and Recreation and the First Congregational Church of Bethel.
