Bethel Community Earth Day Scheduled Events, April 22nd
Join the Bethel Community this Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., as they celebrate Earth Day by coming together to build and support a healthy environment.
WHAT: Bethel Community Earth Day
WHO: Hosted by First Congregational Church of Bethel and Bethel Community Earth Day
WHEN: Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 9 AM – 4 PM
WHERE: Bethel CJH Municipal Center, 1 School St, Bethel, Connecticut 06801
The Bethel Community Earth Day event, which will be hosted on the lawn of the Bethel CJH Municipal Center, will include local vendors, non-profit organizations, community groups, artists, craftspeople, farmers, animals and animal lovers, and others who are dedicated to environmental awareness and preserving our planet.
Throughout the day there will be live music performed by local musicians and groups, a kid’s activity station, and service projects including a town clean-up. Several local shops, restaurants and other businesses will take part in the Earth Day event by sponsoring something on their own premises through our Local Passport program. You can thus visit their businesses throughout the day too, in addition to joining us at the Municipal Center.
Bethel Community Earth Day will be a day for fun, learning, growth, and community-building for people of all ages. It is co-sponsored by the Town of Bethel, Bethel Parks & Recreation, and the First Congregational Church of Bethel.
