The Bethel BeerFest 2019 was once again packed with people, beer vendors and people simply having fun. Several hundred people were in attendance.
There was unlimited beer tastings and unlimited food sampling from 8 local businesses, all for one low price of $35 if purchased prior to the event and $40 at the door.
Beer aficionados, beer lovers and the casual beer drinker were able to speak to company representatives and brewers who make some of their favorite brews and they tasted samples, including new and special “limited release” beers and ales.
Live music was by a trio playing blues/rock music, “Blues and brews” said bass player Billy Bileca. Damon John Wade was on lead guitar and vocals and Nick Longo on drums.
Games such as human foosball and corn hole were a big hit. At one point T-shirts were shot into the air for people to catch.
The premier 2019 vendors were: Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery, Nod Hill Brewery, Central Package, Owl’s Brew, Stony Creek Brewery, Charter Oak Brewing Company, Reverie Brewing Company, Taunton Fine Wine & Liquor, and J. Lawrence Downtown. Restaurants O’Neil’s and Taproot were selling food.
A special BeerFest discounted rate was offered by Royal Choice Global Transportation, a local, licensed ride option for a safe ride home.
The event was hosted by the Bethel Chamber of Commerce.
