Emergency response teams transported several people to the hospital following the collision:
- Three suspects were taken to medical facilities, with injuries ranging from minor to critical. Notably, two of these suspects are minors.
- The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was also hospitalized and reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities confirmed that suspects will be taken into custody once released from medical care. Additionally, the police continue to search for at least two other suspects connected to the attempted robbery incident.

Witnesses near the scene provided detailed observations. One bystander near a coffee shop described seeing the vehicle coming southbound on Hesperian Boulevard collide with another car and then slam into a pole.
“There were three people in the car being pursued. One woman appeared badly injured in the crash,” said Marlo Vazquez of Hayward. “Two males exited the vehicle with their hands raised, and police had their weapons drawn. Emergency crews had to extract people from the wrecked car.”
