Atlanta, GA – A 62-year-old woman died after a hit-and-run crash in northwest Atlanta on September 1, police said.

Officers responded to the intersection of Northside Parkway NW and Mount Paran Road NW just before 5:30 p.m. They found a Toyota Prius with three occupants:

  • 25-year-old man
  • 62-year-old woman

Investigators discovered an abandoned Hyundai Elantra at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate the Elantra was traveling west on Northside Parkway NW when the driver lost control and struck the Prius.
