Newtown Township, PA — A bank fraud investigation escalated into a police chase on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, resulting in the arrest of three individuals, according to the Newtown Township Police Department.
Officers on patrol around 12:30 p.m. observed suspicious activity outside the Truist Bank on Campus Drive. Investigation revealed a fraud in progress inside the bank, but the vehicle involved had already fled the scene.
Vehicle Pursuit and Attempted Escape
Police quickly broadcast a description of the vehicle, which was later located at the Wawa on Lower Silver Lake Road. When officers attempted to approach, the driver rammed a Newtown Township Police vehicle and tried to flee.
All three occupants abandoned the car and ran into a nearby wooded area, prompting a large-scale law enforcement response across Bucks County, as per the reports.

Officers from multiple agencies assisted in the search, including:

Drone and K9 units were deployed to locate the suspects in the wooded area. After a coordinated effort, all three individuals were apprehended without injuries reported to officers or suspects.

The three suspects now face a combined total of eight felony charges, stemming from both the fraud attempt at the bank and their actions during the chase. Authorities did not release the names of the suspects as the case continues.
