Hamden, CT – Hamden police officers executed a search warrant at The District, a clothing and accessories retailer located on the 200 block of Treadwell Street, on Tuesday, recovering a substantial cache of illegal drugs and firearms.

According to Police Lt. Robert Manfield, the raid was the result of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug distribution and unlawful firearm possession connected to the store. Officers recovered large quantities of cannabis and THC products, including edibles, concentrates, and hashish, as well as psilocybin mushrooms.
In addition, controlled substances Xanax and Vyvanse were also seized, highlighting the range of illegal activity taking place at the establishment, as per the reports.

The operation also led to the recovery of two firearms, including a stolen Glock with an obliterated serial number, making it extremely difficult to trace, and another weapon that was illegally possessed. During the raid, Ramy Dasan was arrested on two outstanding warrants for probation violations originating from Orange. He is being held on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Derby on December 9. Hamden police have indicated that further arrests are expected as the investigation continues, suggesting that additional individuals connected to the illegal activity may face charges.
