Spring, Texas — A routine traffic stop in Spring quickly escalated into a chase when a woman allegedly fled from deputies before being subdued with a taser, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred near an apartment complex on FM 2920, where deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 initially pulled the woman over. What began as a standard roadside stop turned into an unexpected pursuit through the area.
Constable Mark Herman detailed the event in a public post on Facebook, praising the rapid response and professionalism of his deputies.
Suspect Runs After Stepping Out of Vehicle
According to investigators, the woman complied at first by stopping her vehicle. However, moments later, she stepped out of the car and suddenly took off on foot, sprinting through the area in an attempt to escape.
