Springfield Township, OH – A serious accident occurred in Springfield Township on Monday afternoon when a truck crashed into a residential home, leaving three people injured and causing significant structural damage, authorities said.
Crash Details
The incident took place near the 8600 block of Desoto Drive at approximately 2:16 p.m., according to the Springfield Township Police Department. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, where firefighters and EMS personnel treated three residents.
Two of the injured were transported to a nearby hospital for further care, while one received treatment on-site.
Arrest and Charges
The driver, identified as 33-year-old Shanie Henry of Sharonville, was arrested at the scene. Henry now faces two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, according to police reports. Additional charges may follow as the investigation continues.
Damage Assessment
Authorities confirmed that the home sustained major structural damage, and the extent of repairs is still being evaluated. The neighborhood was temporarily blocked off during emergency response and investigation.
