19-year-old De Pere Driver Caught after Reckless Police Chase Across Multiple Wisconsin Counties

De Pere, Wisconsin – A 19-year-old woman from De Pere, identified as Isabella Bomske, has been arrested following a high-speed police chase that stretched across Winnebago, Fond du Lac, and Dodge counties on Thursday afternoon.

Chase Spans Multiple Counties

At around 1:45 p.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a series of pursuits involving a driver believed to be in Dodge County. The incident began when a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper initiated the first pursuit in Winnebago County.

The chase then continued into Fond du Lac County, where deputies engaged in an active pursuit just north of the Dodge County line. However, due to losing sight of the suspect vehicle, they were forced to terminate the chase for safety reasons.

Chase Continues Through Beaver Dam and Juneau

Shortly after, reports surfaced that the suspect’s car was seen in the Juneau area before heading toward Beaver Dam along County W. A Beaver Dam police officer initiated another pursuit through the city, but the suspect fled south on County G, prompting officers to end the pursuit once more when the vehicle disappeared from view.

During this pursuit, a Dodge County detective narrowly avoided being struck as the suspect evaded stop sticks deployed on the road. Officials described the driver’s behavior as reckless and dangerous, endangering both officers and the public.

Suspect Located in Reeseville

Law enforcement later surrounded the Reeseville area after multiple squad cars were deployed. A resident reported seeing the suspect’s vehicle parked in a trailer court, and moments later, another witness saw two suspects fleeing from a field and entering a second vehicle nearby.

Deputies quickly intercepted and stopped the second car, leading to the arrest of the occupants.

Charges Filed

Authorities have identified the driver as Isabella Bomske, age 19, of De Pere. She faces charges in Dodge County including reckless endangerment of safety and criminal operating without a valid driver’s license, as per Fox11.

Officials also confirmed that additional charges are expected to be filed in Winnebago and Fond du Lac counties for knowingly fleeing law enforcement.

Sheriff Praises Teamwork

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office commended the coordinated response among multiple law enforcement agencies, emphasizing the teamwork and communication that led to Bomske’s capture without further injuries or property damage.

Authorities continue to investigate the series of pursuits and the motive behind Bomske’s actions.
