The operation was coordinated by the Moses Lake Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU) in partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), targeting individuals suspected of distributing fentanyl powder and other dangerous substances in the region.
Detectives initiated the investigation with a traffic stop, which led to the detention of two individuals. The stop prompted a series of search warrants executed at multiple locations connected to the suspects, as per the reports.

The joint operation yielded a significant seizure of narcotics and weapons, including:
- 2.5 pounds of fentanyl powder
- Approximately 3,000 fentanyl-laced pills
- Over 4 ounces of cocaine
- LSD and psilocybin mushrooms
- Methamphetamine
- Four firearms
In addition, authorities confiscated more than $100,000 in cash, believed to be linked to the illegal drug trade. Law enforcement officials emphasized that this seizure is a major step in disrupting the flow of fentanyl and other illicit substances into the community.

While two people were detained during the initial traffic stop, authorities have not released their names, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. Officials stated that additional arrests or charges may follow as the investigation continues to uncover the full scope of the operation.
