Five People Involved in Serious Two-Car Crash on Bristol Road, Warrington Police Report

WARRINGTON, Pa. — Authorities in Warrington Township are investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that left multiple people injured late Friday night.

Crash Reported Late Friday Night

According to the Warrington Police Department, officers responded to the 2600 block of Bristol Road around 9:30 p.m. following reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel found two vehicles — a sedan and an SUV — severely damaged. Four people were traveling in one vehicle and one person in the other at the time of the crash, confirmed Sgt. Kenneth Hawthorn of the Warrington Police Department.

Emergency Response and On-Scene Details

FOX 29 crews who arrived shortly after the crash reported a heavy police and fire department presence. Firefighters were called due to a strong smell of gasoline coming from one of the vehicles.

Officials confirmed that the crash was not a head-on collision, though the exact cause remains under investigation. The Warrington accident reconstruction team is working to determine how the crash occurred on what police described as a narrow stretch of Bristol Road.

Sgt. Hawthorn described the incident as a “serious accident with serious injuries,” emphasizing that the condition of those involved was still being assessed late Friday.

Investigation Ongoing

The Warrington Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are jointly investigating the crash. Authorities have not yet disclosed the extent of the injuries or whether any citations or charges will be filed.

Officials stated that a press release with additional details is expected to be issued on Saturday morning.

Community Concern

Residents in the area expressed concerns about the safety of Bristol Road, noting that it has seen several accidents in recent years due to its narrow lanes and limited visibility at night.

Local authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution, especially in poorly lit or residential zones.
