Walker, Louisiana — Five suspects were taken into custody after a detailed narcotics investigation in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, resulting in the seizure of a large amount of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other drugs, authorities announced.

Search Warrant Leads Deputies to Alleged Drug Operation

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO), the arrests took place after agents obtained a search warrant for a residence on Herring Drive in Walker. Investigators say the home was a hub where methamphetamine and fentanyl were being supplied.

The suspected primary dealer was identified as Darnell “Peanut” Jones, 50. Deputies believe he was distributing drugs throughout the community.

Large Quantity of Deadly Drugs Seized

During the execution of the search warrant, officers seized:

  • 28.1 grams of fentanyl
  • 203.2 grams of methamphetamine
  • 6.7 grams of “speedball” (meth/fentanyl mixture)
  • 2.1 grams of crack cocaine

Sheriff’s officials also urged residents to remain vigilant and continue reporting suspicious activity to help combat the growing drug crisis.

Community Safety Remains Focus

Officials called this bust a major step in protecting families in Livingston Parish, acknowledging the importance of community partnerships in stopping illegal drug operations.
