New York City, NY – A 15-year-old high school student is fighting for his life after being beaten, stabbed, and robbed by a gang of more than a dozen teen muggers in a violent afternoon attack on Wednesday, authorities said.

What Happened

The victim was walking near 160th Street and Hillside Avenue around 2:15 p.m. when 13 unknown suspects — believed to be teenagers — approached and surrounded him, police reported.

According to investigators, the group punched and kicked the victim multiple times. During the assault, one of the attackers stabbed him repeatedly.

The suspects then stole his black and yellow sneakers, valued at $340, before fleeing the scene, as per The Post.

Victim in Critical Condition

The injured teen was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

Police confirmed he is a local high school student, though his exact school was not disclosed. Hillcrest High School is located near the crime scene, raising concerns about student safety in the area.

Suspects Still At Large

No arrests have been made. The NYPD has released footage, showing the suspects running down the street — some wearing hoods and masks, others carrying backpacks.

Authorities are urging the public to help identify the attackers.
