The incident reportedly took place in June, but it wasn’t until September that the Madison Police Department became aware of the situation. Officials reviewed a video of the encounter, which led to a formal investigation.
According to police, Jacob Knowlton, the head of a security guard service, was involved in a confrontation where he allegedly drew his gun on an individual. The video and witness statements prompted authorities to file charges against Knowlton.
