Cape Cod, Massachusetts – A three-car collision on Cape Cod left a 23-year-old Carver man in critical condition on Wednesday afternoon, authorities reported. The crash occurred on Route 6 in Bourne, prompting an immediate emergency response.
Crash Details
Police began receiving 911 calls reporting the crash shortly before 1:20 p.m. Firefighters arrived first at the scene, between Edgehill Road and Herring Pond Road, and quickly extinguished a fire in one of the SUVs involved in the collision.
Officers reported that a red Hyundai Kona, a blue Audi Q5, and a green BMW X1 had collided, resulting in heavy damage to all three vehicles.
Injuries and Victims
All drivers involved were transported to local hospitals. The Hyundai driver, a 23-year-old man from Carver, suffered life-threatening injuries.
The Audi driver, a 46-year-old man from Lowell, and the BMW driver, a 53-year-old man from Truro, were also treated at hospitals, though the extent of their injuries has not been released.
