BROOKLYN, N.Y. – A 60-year-old woman tragically died on Monday morning after being struck by an e-bike ridden by two men near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, according to NYPD and law enforcement sources.

The incident occurred around 7:20 a.m. at Flushing Avenue and North Elliot Place. The woman had just exited the B57 bus and was attempting to walk north across a bike lane when she was violently hit by the e-bike.
The e-bike was operated by a 39-year-old man, with a 41-year-old male passenger riding along. Both men were transported to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition, authorities confirmed.

The woman was rushed to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. Her identity has not yet been released by police.
