Oakland, CA – Authorities seized a large quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, $25,000 in cash, and a ghost gun during a raid on Wednesday at a residence on the 2800 block of 8th Avenue. The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) said the seized drugs were intended for street-level distribution in San Francisco.
Multiple Arrests Made
During the operation, police arrested four individuals:
- Jahir Banegas Hernandez, 20
- Axel Josue Casco Rosales, 18
- Darwin Omar Martinez, 21
- A 21-year-old woman from Oakland on outstanding warrant violations
The three men face drug and child-endangerment charges, while the woman was booked for warrant violations. All suspects are currently in custody at the Santa Rita Jail.
Child Found During Raid
Officials reported that a toddler was located in the residence during the search and was immediately released to a child welfare worker to ensure their safety.
Drugs and Weapons Confiscated
The SFPD Narcotics Division, along with assistance from the U.S. Army National Guard and the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, executed the search warrant. Confiscated items included:
- 180 grams of fentanyl
- 57 grams of methamphetamine
- 16 grams of cocaine
- $25,000 in cash
- A ghost gun
